At The Yoga Church Amstelveen we offer the following regular classes
A classical medium to fast paced yoga class in which we connect our breath to our movements. Very suitable for people who have some experience with yoga and want a good workout. After we make good use of our muscles we end the class with a relaxing savasana.
Classical Yin classes in which we hold the asana's (postures) for 3 to 5 minutes. It is a perfect way to relax and focus on yourself. We not only train your flexibility, but also your concentration. This class is suitable for all levels. Experience with yoga is not necessary.
Based on Vinyasa this is a flow class in which the lower pace allows us to create maximum focus on our breath, energy, body and mind. This class is the perfect mix between strength and relaxation and very suitable for those who like a workout yet also love the meditation of yoga.
Yoga Nidra means sleep of the yogi. In this pure meditation class we will move into the space between being awake and sleeping. This is a great class for complete relaxation. Next to that, it will help you also to process the mass of stimuli we take in daily.
At The Yoga Church we teach Ground Control Pilates. This form of Pilates is very safe. It is not about the sixpack, but about stability, control and most of all developing consciousness about your own body and how you move. To make sure you will leave the class feeling great we end the class with a good stretch.
Private class, completely tailored to your specific wishes and learning points and end with a savasana. Can be done with 1 or 2 persons. Personal training cannot be booked online. Back & Shoulder Yoga
The Yoga Church and Fysiotherapie Medisch Centrum Randwijck have bundled their expertise and experiance and created a special class for people with lower/middle back and shouldes issues. In this class we will do a combination of yoga and relaxed pilates exercises, training specific muscle groups. This class is created to reduce and/or prevent spine- and shoulder issues. Naturally, relaxation is also part of this class. Are you suffering from long term spinal- and shoulder issues or are you recovering from a hernia? Do you want to prevent low spinal- and shoulder issues? Than sign up for this class!
